Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1967 Chevrolet CAMARO recalls can be found in this database. Additional Description: This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Dick Harrell Tribute is a big power big block coupe. And while you're going to love the upgraded muscle, there's also a detailed build to make sure it's an all-around, wonderful, tribute. This car has a mean stance where its intimidation is as clear as black and white...literally. The bright white paint has a nice clearcoat luster. It does a good job of highlighting the crisp body lines of the coupe. And it also makes for a distinguished backdrop for speedy dark elements, like the SS hood stripe, front air dam, and those extra meaty rear tires. And we know you recognized the Corvette's stinger hood. It really shows that this one is built for performance, and it was one of Dick Harrell's special upgrades. For those who don't already know the legend of Dick Harrell, just think about Yenko and Motion Performance. Harrell was the horsepower master of the Midwest, and his Kansas City shop was the birthplace for some of the best street and strip bow ties. In fact, it's believed that Chevrolet asked for his input on some of their hottest cars of the 1960s. So to find one of his few surviving originals will cost you the same as taking over a KC bbq sauce company. That's why an accurate replica is quite a nice find. This has some cool details, like a dealer tag for Chicago's Ferrell-Hicks - a Midwest dealer famous with performance car fans. The black interior keeps this car's color theme going nicely. It also retains a cool and classic style. Low-back bucket seats, a center console, and the thin/grippy three-spoke steering wheel make for a nice driver's combo. Even the trunk has a nice stock-style. An upgraded car like this was expected to have an upgraded gauge package. So you have a cool set of classic-style Stewart Warner readouts cleanly installed below the dash. Plus, there's a matching SW tach mounted prominently on top of the steering column. The callouts on the stinger hood were not lying. The engine bay is filled with 427 cubic-inches of big block power. This is the famous displacement for those who wanted the most out of a Chevrolet in the muscle car era. Chevy never officially offered anything this large on the first-gen Camaro. Instead, it took special orders from people like Harrell to get the best powerhouse in the lightweight Camaro coupes. They also upgraded these nicely, so it's great to see this enhanced with a Holley Street Avenger four-barrel carburetor, winters aluminum intake, and long tube headers. The stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission has been upgraded with a shift kit and 2500 RPM stall. This feeds the strong 12-bolt rear end. There's also frame connectors, traction bars, and power brakes with front discs for solid all-around performance. This is the strong and powerful Camaro built as a great tribute to a true street king. So if you want to pass everyone, don't let this deal get past you. Call now!
